Sylvania #2 replacement flashbulb

Sylvania #2 flashbulb: Manufactured by Sylvania mainly during the 1950 to the mid 1970’s. It was also called the Sylvania Type 2 flashbulb. This size flashbulb was popular for press photography.

Flashbulbs of similar specification were also made by Philips called the Philips Photoflux P60. General Electric made a similar flashbulb called the GE #50. The flashbulb had a ES medium screw base and was about 1 1/8” (approx. 50mm) and about 5” long (125mm).

Meggaflash make an equivalent of these flashbulbs called the Meggaflash PF200 flashbulb and is still being manufactured today.
